HIV/AIDS Case Management

DEAN offers case management services to persons living with HIV/AIDS. Services include assessment of client need for referral and wellness management. DEAN case management connects clients to individualized medical care, social services, and other resources necessary for the immediate and long-term needs of each person.

Emergency assistance is available to clients based on individual need and availability of funding. Limited covered items include medical and dental support, co-pay assistance, emergency housing and utility assistance--available when all other community resources are exhausted.

Clients can participate in weekly support groups at our Ellsworth and Machias offices. These confidential meetings offer a place for people living with HIV to receive support, gain knowledge, and learn from each other.
